(03) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: vivo cellular MRI hardware at ultra-high fields.
In this postdoc project, you will develop a cellular MRI setup for ultra-high field. The initial work will focus on developing the radiofrequency coils. The ultimate goal is to integrate the sensitive detector with an “in vivo” setup for long-term high resolution MRI and localised spectroscopy measurements and adapt this setup for various biological specimens including single cells, organoids and biofilms.

You will join WUR and the HUMAN-AI Alliance program “HUMAN autonomy perspective of Artificial Intelligence” (UU, UMCU, TU/e) to work on sensory innovations and health applications based on artificial intelligence to enhance human autonomy.

(05) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Post-doc Tomato quality improvement.
In the framework of a collaborative project with a breeding company, research will be carried out aiming at improving tomato fruit traits. A focus is on genes that may improve yield, or shelf-life, ripening and other quality traits such as sugar content. Several alleles of these target genes will be created using TILLING or (at WPR) CRISPR-Cas approaches and the phenotypes of the generated mutants will be studied in detail. Furthermore, we aim at further developing CRISPR mutagenesis skills and explore its applications and approaches.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Researcher African Food Product Design
This researcher can independently run research, supervise and coordinate the work of MSc and BSc thesis students, and be involved in the supervision of PhD students. Moreover, the candidate should have good networking capacities and project writing skills as the first task involves the preparation of a project proposal for the Horizon call “African Food Cities”. The FQD group has multiple activities focusing on the optimization and redesign of African food production chains. Postdoctoral position summary/title: Postdoc Position in UAV/Drones, Agriculture, AI, Computer Vision, Machine.
The Postdoctoral Researcher will work within the context of the 3-years H2020 project FLEXIGROBOTS (Twitter, LinkedIn) and contribute towards the development of an autonomous fleet of UAVs that will collaboratively look for diseases in the grapevines from a wide vineyard in Spain. You will work with UAVs/Drones, Computer vision, and AI in collaboration with internacional and national knowledge institutes and companies.
