The Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time Limited Term Research Associate position with primary research interests in tuberculosis (TB) research, operational research and randomized controlled trial in Tibet, China. This position will provide research support for a Stop TB Partnership funded TB REACH grant. The Allen Research Lab in the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy invites applications for the position of Research Associate (Limited Term) in the field of nanomedicine and drug delivery (https://allen.pharmacy.utoronto.ca). Our lab is focused on the formulation of contrast agents and drugs for detection and treatment, respectively, of chronic diseases such as osteoarthritis and cancer. New directions in our laboratory include investigation of cell-based therapies and integration of AI approaches in drug formulation development. We are a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers who are passionate about developing technologies and therapeutic approaches that will improve patient outcomes. Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Research Associate (One Year Term) – Analog Power Electronics (2 positions)
- Define the hardware architectures for analog electronics; perform trade analyses on various architectures.
- Select components for analog electronic boards including power electronics/supplies and data acquisition electronics (e.g. CCD signal chains). This includes searching for and acquiring evaluation components for breadboarding and testing.
- Design, prototype, assemble, and/or test custom analog electronics boards including power boards/supplies, data acquisition circuits. This includes schematic design, layout, parts selection and documentation, derating analysis, following good EMC practice, soldering surface mount components, handling test equipment, following good ESD practice.
- Collaborate with other engineers to specify requirements on, and obtain requirements from other spacecraft subsystems that must interface with the analog electronics being developed.

Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Research Associate (One Year Term) – Mechanical – Structures and Mechanisms
- Design, prototype, assemble and/or test spacecraft structures and mechanisms that meet the requirements of the components being housed and loads and vibration requirements imposed by launch vehicles and operating environments.
- Develop finite element models for static and dynamic analyses of the designed spacecraft structures. Analyze spacecraft structures using finite element models and/or hand calculations.
- Create drawings and specifications to convey the structure designs to other engineers and consultants. Create solid models of internal and external spacecraft layouts.
- Maintain mass budgets and allocations.
- Produce drawings for machining and fabrication using CAD tools; coordinate with machine shops and suppliers.
- Perform mechanical fit checks, assembly, and integration.
