(07) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: This is a postdoc level research position focusing on the early performance of rapid setting cement (RSC). The appointed researcher will conduct a series of laboratory-based experiments to probe the hdyration mechanism, kinetics, workability and mechanical properties of several RSCs. He/she is also expected to do field work with external grantors in use of RSC in airport pavements and to propose suitable designs for implementation. He/she is expected to work in a collaborative environment in Dr Ong and Dr Geng’s research team, to deliver objectives of the research project, and to publish on high-end academic journals. The appointed researcher will gain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in the study of RSC, and first-hand experience of a real-world project. It will help pave his/her way to become an independent researcher.
