Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post-doctoral position in Electrical Engineering (6G Digital Baseband Processing)
The post-doctoral position is in the area of efficient hardware implementation of 6G wireless communication systems, including massive MIMO and large intelligent surfaces. The targeted hardware platforms include field programmable gate array (FPGA), application-specific instruction set processors (ASIP), and/or ASICs. New devices including memristor for in-memory computing will be explored to enable very efficient hardware implementation. The developed hardware will be used in real-life system-level testing and measurement campaigns.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Researcher Practical Philosophy LGRP
The position(s) advertised are for at least two years with a possibility of extension (to be determined later). The primary responsibility of the person appointed will be to contribute to LGRP’s research environment, especially with respect to foundational and analytic issues concerning moral responsibility and free will. He or she will also actively participate in LGRP’s research seminar and other relevant research activities at the Philosophy Department. Additional duties may include teaching, supervision of graduate students, or other teaching-related activities. These tasks will not exceed 20% of the position’s responsibilities. The holder of the position is expected to carry out her/his research in Lund and to be present regularly and consistently at the research group’s various activities and programs (workshops, seminars, conferences, etc.).

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral fellow in neuroimaging (fMRI) of Alzheimer’s disease
The postdoctoral researcher will focus on fMRI data analysis, aimed at improving our understanding of the functional mechanisms i) providing resilience against Alzheimer’s disease pathology, and ii) promoting protein spreading in Alzheimer’s disease. The postdoctoral researcher will work with data acquired as part of the Swedish BioFINDER 2 study (www.biofinder.se). In this study, 1,500 persons across the clinical spectrum of Alzheimer’s disease (i.e., from cognitively normal to dementia) will undergo longitudinal advanced neuroimaging including 3T and 7T MRI with both structural and functional sequences as well as amyloid and tau PET. Other assignments within the research group may also occur.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoc position in automatic control with focus on pharmacometric modeling
The focus of the post-doctoral project is development of novel methods for pharmacometric covariate modeling: Given a dynamic drug response model, we are facing the problem of determining its parameters from individual covariates such age, sex, or more generally biomarkers or genetic data. Apart from extrapolating well, the learned mapping from covariates to parameters should ideally be transparent and explainable. One way to achieve this, which we aim to pursue in the project, is to develop symbolic regression methods that output human-readable formulas. Large pharmacological data sets will be used from day one to ensure practical relevance of the developed methods.

(05) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Post-doctoral fellow in neutron surface scattering
The main duties involved in a post-doctoral position is to conduct research. The main research task is to defining the key instrument parameters of SAGA. This includes the neutron delivery system, sample stage and detector system as well as the modes of operation and will be done together with the project partners. The design should take benefit of novel optical components, new technologies and modes of operation. The concept will be refined and simulated using the Monte-Carlo simulation package McStas, and then benchmarked against existing instrumentation. The postdoctoral fellow will focus on instrument design with particular emphasis on technology developments, which are considered the key for success of the instrument proposal. Particular emphasis will be on engaging the community to build, operate and use GISANS instrumentation. The project will be supported by engineering resources and experiments at partner facilities.
