Position Description
The Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (lIT) Roorkee invites applications from the outstanding candidates for a post-doctoral position under the mentorship of Prof. Prakash Biswas and Prof. Prateek Jha to work on a project entitled “First-principle design, synthesis, and characterization of nickel-ceria-zirconia catalyst for methane tri-reforming from MOF precursors”.
Eligibility/Qualification
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and related disciplines with a research background in the aforementioned areas with a good publication record.
Candidates who have recently submitted their Ph.D. thesis are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they have to provide proof of the award of PhD. degree at the time of interview if shortlisted.
Salary:
First & Second Year: Rs. 55,000/- per month
Third Year: Rs.60,OOO/- per month
The contingency of Rs . 50,000/- per annum will also be awarded.
