Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: ADAPTIVE IMMUNE DYSFUNCTION AND AGING
We are recruiting goal-oriented, creative, and highly motivated postdocs to use single cell omics, transcriptome and epigenome to study T cell differentiation and age-related alterations of T cell function. We perform single-cell transcriptomic and epigenetic assays to study the role of T cell differentiation and age-related changes. Specifically, we study the 1) transcriptome changes during CD8 T cell differentiation, cancer and aging; 2) antigen-specific CD8 T cell receptor repertoires against virus, and their roles in T cell response and aging; and 3) role of adaptive immunity in the age-associated decline of brain functions.

A postdoctoral position is available in the Mechanistic Toxicology Branch in the Division of the National Toxicology Program (DNTP) at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. This is a cross-divisional (Division of Intramural Research, Division of the National Toxicology Program, and Division of Extramural Research and Training) project that is focused on investigating environmental health disparities in cardiovascular disease.
