Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Postdoctoral Position in Chemical Biology
The Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense invites applications for a postdoctoral position embedded in the laboratories of the Biomolecular Nanoscale Engineering Center – BioNEC research unit. The research unit focuses on engineering of state-of-the-art oligonucleotide and peptide bioconjugates for applications in DNA-programmed chemistry, fusion of biomembranes and functional oligonucleotides for molecular sensing and oligonucleotide-based therapies.

(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: in Ethnography, Cognition and Organizational Resilience
The position is embedded in the externally funded research project: “Determinants of Resilience in Organizational Networks” (DRONe) which investigates how cognitive attitudes amongst employees in a Danish utility company enable resilience to innovative technologies. Methodologically, the candidate must be able to conduct an extensive ethnographical study of the workplace dynamics in the utility company combined with interviews and surveys.

(03) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: in Operator Algebras
In connection with the project ‘Operator Algebras, Groups, and Quantum Spaces’ (funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark) we are opening a two-year postdoc position for a young researcher with a research profile in operator algebras. The standard Danish salary is very competitive, and the position also includes a travel budget of EURO 2600 per year. The teaching load will not exceed one semester per year, corresponding to 10 ECTS, and the teaching may be conducted in English.

(04) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Nitrous Oxide Turnover in the Ocean
The aim of the postdoc project is to understand how nitrous oxide is biologically removed from marine surface waters by a combination of isotope labelling experiments, genetic and metagenomic profiling and single cell techniques. Nitrous oxide is one of the strongest natural greenhouse gases, and its production has been subject to numerous studies over the last decades. Its consumption, or its sinks, are, however, not clear and will therefore be studied in the context of this project.

How do news consumers navigate social media when it comes to news? What are mechanisms of selection and engagement? Or mechanisms of avoidance? Citizens’ news use on social media platforms has significant democratic implications.
III. Buying you (or your data): legal challenges from a user perspective
Data buyers operate, among other things, by paying for code space to embed a script in a commercial service or commercial IoT device, such as a watch or a refrigerator.
IV. The AI newsroom
News media organisations are changing in response to processes of digitalization, new (audience) metrics, and AI.
V. The Evolution of AI-based Organizations
Organizations evolve over time in response to environmental demands, including new digital technologies and AI.
