Postdoctoral position summary/title: Research Fellow/Trainee (Post Doc)-Environmental Health Department.
Two postdoctoral training positions are available, one beginning July 1, 2021, and another January 1, 2022 at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health under the mentorship of faculty conducting impactful, innovative, multi-disciplinary research in the environmental health sciences. Postdoctoral fellows are supported by the Training Program in the Environmental Health Sciences and Toxicology, an NIH/NIEHS T32 supported training grant which is focused on training the next generation of leaders in the field by assuring a multidisciplinary training experience needed by trainees to develop as successful independent environmental health researchers and practitioners.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Post Doctoral Fellow – Bacterial Physiology, Genetics, and Genomics.
Full-time position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Joanna Goldberg in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University. This laboratory is located on Emory’s main campus on the same floor as the Department of Microbiology and Immunology in Rollins Research Center. This new position will help advance our group’s research efforts to understand Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus interact during infection and cause disease.

(05) Postdoctoral Position
Postdoctoral position summary/title: Applications are invited for a 2-year postdoctoral fellow position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics & Gerontology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. This position will have a focus on neurorehabilitation in neurodegenerative disease using creative movement therapies and will involve neuroimaging techniques, motion analysis, clinical motor, cognitive and psychosocial function exams, and inflammatory biomarker assessments, under the supervision of Dr. Madeleine E. Hackney. Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field, (eg, movement science/kinesiology, health & human performance, rehabilitation, cognitive psychology, gerontology, neuroscience). Strong candidates will have a robust publication record, with excellent writing skills, data analysis skills (fMRI, biomechanics), statistical knowledge, interests in motor control/learning, gerontology, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cognition, and novel forms of rehabilitation for older populations.

Postdoctoral position summary/title: Biochemistry – Post Doctoral Fellow
The Ghalei lab has an immediate opening on a collaborative project investigating the role of rRNA modifications in cancer biology. The lab is located in the Department of Biochemistry at Emory University School of Medicine and has wide access to the resources and collaborative community at Emory University and the Winship Cancer Institute. The applicant has ideally just completed their Ph.D. or is currently a Ph.D. student in their final year in a related area to our research (e.g. RNA biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, genetics). Expertise in RNA biology/biochemistry and RNA-sequencing approaches is preferred. The successful candidate will start on the ground of exciting novel preliminary data and work closely with members of a highly collaborative team in an interdisciplinary laboratory.
