The position will provide the opportunity for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to take a major role in two experiments, the Simons Array and SPT-3G, which are designed to make precise measurements of the polarisation of the cosmic microwave background.  These B-modes are a promising probe of the neutrino masses (through gravitational lensing on small angular scales), inflation (through gravitational waves on large angular scales), and more exotic physics such as cosmic birefringence. The successful applicant will collaborate with international co-Investigators on the Simons Array and South Pole Telescope (SPT) projects.
